Works with CPA company to plan for and efficiently conduct annual review of Animix’s accounts.Discusses findings/questions with President, Executive Vice President and/or CPA company. Keeps current with developments in accounting in order to identify potential problems or opportunities.Ensures backups are completed and stored properly. Ensure software is current and being used to its potential. ![]() Responsible for any IT related projects and issues.Establishes proper risk management policies and programs.Reviews inventory adjustments to financials as needed. Back up and overview for company payrolls.Maintains good working relationships with banks or other financial institutions utilized by the company and provided necessary information to banks or financial institutions as needed.Collects data, analyzes information, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on special projects as needed and requested by President, Executive Vice President or other management team members. Prepares regular financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, etc.) and presents to President and Executive Vice President as scheduled with explanations of variances and irregularities.Works closely with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate payment of invoices received.Plans for and effectively manages cash flow, makes determination of when and where to invest cash, when to pay debt, etc.to maximize return. Safeguards the financial resources of the business through establishing and monitoring programs for internal controls and general security.Ensure integrity of general ledger, creates and reviews monthly journal entries. This includes accounting for project management activities, cost accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable, general ledger, daily cash control and deposits, bank reconciliation, etc. Responsible for the quality, accuracy, and thoroughness of the general accounting and financial activities of the company.What do the BEST performers do in this role?.Responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling of the financial activities of the Company.Ĭontroller must oversee and manage the general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collection and IT areas.įollows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
